"Why Palestine? Because it is a just cause, a noble ideal, a moral quest for equality and human rights."

— Edward Said

The Australian Friends of Palestine Association is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation which has as its primary object the promotion of peace in Palestine based on international law and relevant UN resolutions. A subsidiary objective is the promotion of Palestinian identity, heritage and culture to Australians.

As a member you will receive regular notices including the monthly AFOPA Update, the Association’s electronic newsletter and you can view all the latest news and upcoming events on our website or become a friend on Facebook (search for AFOPA). As our organisation is growing we will also be offering significant discounts for members at some of our events.
