The Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, has been invited to Australia by our Government. He will be landing in Australia on Monday 9 February.
Thousands of people all over the country will be protesting this visit and demanding that our Government investigate Herzog for crimes against humanity.
We know that the International Court of Justice cited Herzog’s statements when assessing the risk of genocide in Gaza. We know that the United Nations Independent Commission of Inquiry found that Herzog’s statements amounted to direct and public incitement to commit genocide under the Genocide Convention. We know that he is the Head of an apartheid state.
