This day in Palestine...

International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, 29 November

On 29 November annually is the annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

This day was declared in the United Nations General Assembly resolution 32/40 B of 2 December 1977.

The occasion marks the adoption by the UN General Assembly of resolution 181 (II) on 29 November 1947 partitioning the mandate of Palestine into two States.
