2019 Palestinian Film Festival

10th Anniversary Edition

Australia

PFF.jpg

The Palestinian Film Festival is a national festival dedicated to building intercultural understanding and to promoting Palestinian life, art and culture in Australia. Showcasing a diverse and innovative selection of Palestinian films from around the world, the festival is a cinematic journey of unforgettable imagery and creative, thought-provoking storytelling.

The Festival is part of an emerging Palestinian film industry working to facilitate Palestinian cultural output while strengthening social and economic ties between Palestine and Australia, and other parts of the world.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Festival, we celebrate Arab cinema more broadly – its origins, its development and its ongoing important contribution to Arab cultural life. We also honour Arab cinema’s pioneers and champions, and the collective creativity that has produced a distinct and rich cinematic archive. In doing so, we proudly announce the inaugural Arab Cinema Days stream in the 2019 festival where we showcase films from across the Arab region and beyond.

The Palestinian Film Festival is produced by Cultural Media.
