Palestine National Day

Melbourne, VIC

Palestine National Day.jpg

Marhaba (Hello) - be part of celebrating the Palestinian culture in the heart of Melbourne. For the last three years, Palestinians and supporters have gathered in Federation Square for Palestine National Day – and we are getting BIGGER – last year there were 550 of us!

This year Palestine National Day will be on a Friday night – and we need your help to really give this event a serious WOW factor! We are wanting to hire the HUGE screens at Federation Square to project images of Palestine directly to the city. We also want to hire a great sound system, have Knafeh and much more.

Palestine National Day is a day of acknowledgment for Palestinians around the world particularly those in Palestine faced with injustice and occupation every day. It is a day of hope. It’s a reminder that symbols are important and the flag symbolises our joint commitment to see Palestinian full self-determination.

We also have options for business sponsorship, if interested please contact

We hope that we can count on your help to make this year’s event one of our best yet. Please put the evening of Friday 15th November in your diary!

Thank you for your support, we hope to see you at the event!

The Event is supported by: Australia Palestine Advocacy Network; Australians for Palestine; Casey Friends of Palestine; Beit Jala Palestinian Association; Palestinian Community Association; Palestinian Film Festival.
